The market read before the commitment

GDI Advisory writes what the numbers already say. A market study for a principal choosing where to appoint, or for an agent deciding whether to seek a franchise. The reporting a distributor owes the factory, built once and produced every month afterwards. And a monthly retainer for the reading in between.

For authorised agents and traders, and for principal offices appointing in the region.

Three kinds of engagement

  • A market study

Size, structure, the players already in it, and what a new entrant would meet

  • A reporting system

The report the principal expects, built once from the records that already exist

  • A monthly retainer

The numbers read each month, with someone to call between them

What a study covers

  1. 1

Market size and structure, from the records the trade already files

  2. 2

The agents and dealers in it, and what each of them holds

  3. 3

What the market absorbs, by segment and by price band

  4. 4

Reporting the factory accepts, in the shape it expects to receive

  5. 5

Built onto the systems already in use, with nothing replaced

  6. 6

A monthly reading, and someone to call between them

How an engagement runs

  1. 1

The question written down, scoped and priced

  2. 2

The records read and the study written

  3. 3

Delivered, walked through, and answered afterwards

The terms

Priced per engagement, with the scope, the price and the delivery date agreed before any work begins and half paid at signature. Retainers are monthly and end whenever the client says so.
